[MPlayer-users] After update pre5 -pre6 //Extreme slow DivX Videos

Hi

Since I have upgrade from "mplayer-0.90pre5-2.i686.rpm" to
"mplayer-0.90pre6-2.i686.rpm" or "mplayer-0.90pre6-1.i686.rpm" all DivX
Videos are extreme slow. If I downgrade
to "mplayer-0.90pre5-2.i686.rpm", everything is running smoothly again.
All other video formats like mpg are running also with"mplayer-0.90pre6-2.

Any other modes: -vc ffdivx, -vc divx or other sound options(-ao sdl)
don't have any effects.

I have tried Vidivx, too. Without any luck. It wants to have a "Mplayer
- ViDivX - driver "

Regards,

Matthias Kahl

!!! Possible reasons, problems, workaround:
- Most common: broken/buggy _audio_ driver. workaround: try -ao sdl or use
ALSA 0.5 or oss emulation of ALSA 0.9. read DOCS/sound.html for more tips!
- Slow video output. try different -vo driver (for list: -vo help) or try
with -framedrop ! Read DOCS/video.html for video tuning/speedup tips.
- Slow cpu. don't try to playback big dvd/divx on slow cpu! try
-hardframedrop
- Broken file. try various combinations of these: -nobps -ni -mc 0
-forceidx
- You're using -cache to play a non-interleaved file? try with -nocache
If none of these apply, then read DOCS/bugreports.html !
