[MPlayer-users] Re-encoding with crippled Index and data

Hi,

recently I've downloaded an avi file which is 233mb long, but after I 
tried to paly it I got a) the reindexing message b) the file was running 
to only like 10% of it's total time.
So I decided to check the docs, all I found was mencoder reindexing, I 
tried but only got a file which is 34mb long, so I've got a question - 
is it possible to repair this(the big one) file somehow ? It amy contain 
some broken frames but let it work atleast.
