[MPlayer-users] key input problem [dvdnav bindings]

Trying to use dvdnav menus,
I see in the manpage : H/J/K/L/M/S for default key bindings.

the problem is that :
pressing  shift+j keys reports
 No bind found for key 0x12f. (aka shift)
 No bind found for key j.

pressing j with caps lock enabled produces only:
 No bind found for key j.
instead of going down in the menu.

and having caps lock enabled rarely activates the nav buttons/menus.
then pressing m with caps enabled mutes the sound 99% of time instead
of going to the menu.
