[MPlayer-users] mencoder - if used with -ss audio and video gets out of synch

Hello,

I tried to get only a certain scene with mplayer, and used this command to 
achieve this:

mencoder DieFabelhafteWeltDerAmelie.avi -ss 01:02:11 -endpos 136 -oac copy \
-ovc copy -o cutscene.avi

The Video part is okay, it's encoding the scenes from the seconds on i want, 
but the audio part seems to be more tricky: It is not encoded from this 
position in the DivX5 Video at all, but starts from the beginning of the avi. 
That means, I get the video from the middle of the movie but the sound right 
from the beginning of the movie.
mencoder bug? If i do the same with mplayer i do not have any problems, the 
sound is also played correctly from the right place on.
