Hi all,

Running into a problem with 0.90pre1. This is the first intsallation on
this particular machine, but I have several instances of 0.60 on other
machines. This particular machine is a Toshiba Tecra 8100 with the DVD
drive, running Debian/sid. It runs an S3 Savage card. Everything seems
to be set up and working...

[storm at ganges storm]$ cat /proc/mtrr
reg00: base=0x100a0000 ( 256MB), size= 64KB: write-back, count=1
reg01: base=0x100b0000 ( 256MB), size= 64KB: write-back, count=1
reg02: base=0xfff80000 (4095MB), size= 512KB: write-protect, count=1
reg03: base=0x00000000 ( 0MB), size= 128MB: write-back, count=1
reg04: base=0xe0000000 (3584MB), size= 128MB: write-combining, count=1
reg05: base=0xf0000000 (3840MB), size= 8MB: write-combining, count=1

[storm at ganges storm]$ lspci -v

Flags: bus master, 66Mhz, medium devsel, latency 248, IRQ 11

Capabilities: [dc] Power Management version 1
        Capabilities: [80] AGP version 1.0

[storm at ganges storm]$ dpkg -l xserver-xfree86
ii xserver-xfree8 4.1.0-14 the XFree86 X server

When I play videos using MPlayer, I get audio just fine (including DVDs,
so decoding is working), but the video consists of horizontal green
lines, the lines vary through different shades of green.

Does anyone know of a fix for this? I have tried decoding dvds avis and
mpegs all with the same result. I have never seen this on any other box
I have mplayer running on.

Thanks,
