[MPlayer-users] WMA only/ASF cache problems?

I am using 0.90 (and tried it under 0.60 too) and trying to listen to an
Audio only source [mplayer -nogui mms://195.92.252.254/jazzfmstation]. 
Although I have an ADSL connection I seem to be getting a very low cache
percentage (max 10%).  From the output it seems the cache is set to 30k
- Does anyone know a decent way around this?  I get around 1 second of
audio before a brief pause, then 3 more seconds before mplayer stops.
