[MPlayer-users] [BUG] CVS version has problems with certain MPEG2 files

Hi,

I have many SVCDs which start abruptly (in an old mplayer from a few
months ago, they had green squares in the first fraction of a second).
I imagine that these MPEG2s are truncated at the beginning. Anyway,
for the past few months, CVS mplayer has not been able to play these.
I decided it's finally time to submit a bug report.

Basically, mplayer Sig11's whenever I play one of these files. I have
put the first 2mb of one of them up at
http://chunk.voxel.net/~aaronl/tng9.bin. The problem happens with both
the ffmpeg codec and libmpeg2, except using libmpeg2 the sig11 is
caught and mplayer does not crash. Thus, I will provide crash
information from the crash that the ffmpeg codec causes.

I don't think that a disassembly is necessary, since as you can see
it's passing a null pointer into fast_memcpy.
