Talking about spam, have any of you ever looked at mplayer output?

Lets take our average porn clip for example. Can someone please tell me,
what is Joe User, who is not a developer (like most of mplayer users I dare
assume), going to do with 20 lines of information like

Not an URL!

Detected AVI file format!

Sometimes there appears some line with "chunksize=" and after that some
fucked up chars which completely destroy xterms/fb/text -console's ability
to show readable letters and makes the rest of the output unreadable. Sigh.

I might be alone saying this, but I think this really makes it hard to find
the IMPORTANT things from the output.

Sure, you could just say anyone can just add if(verbose) or change MSGL_INFO
to MSGL_V for the offending lines but as the only usable mplayer is the one
in the cvs and it is updated all the time its a pain to do for every cvs up
even with diffs. I doubt the average mplayer user could do that anyway.
