[MPlayer-users] movie problem

Hi,

I have problems with using mplayer. I use version 0.60-10 under debian,
and did the install by apt-get. 
some details : kernel 2.4.18 (also tried under 2.4.3)
os : debian-woody
videocard : savage 4 (savage.drv.o 1.20)
xfree : xfree 4.2

When I opening a mpeg-file, i get some green bars on the screen, and
that is all.Two important messages : "Can't find video codec for forced
driver family, fallback to other drivers." and "Movie-Aspect is
undefined - no prescaling applied."
