how can you tell if it's sdl+xv or sdl+x11?

btw. here :
ffmpeg + xv doesn't work ( i can't find a file where it works)
ffmpeg + sdl works most of time ( but i have a file where it doesn't)

of coure i can upload some media if anyone wants:-)
