[MPlayer-users] Problem with install Dix4Linux for mencoder (checking c++)

First :
	I run into directory avifile-0.6 the scripts: autogen.sh

Second:
	 I run ./configure with the follow error message:
	
	configure:1423: checking for c++
	configure:1455: checking whether the C++ compiler (c++ ) works
	configure:1471: c++  -o conftest conftest.C
	/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lstdc++
	collect2: failed program was:
	#line 1466 "configure"
	#include "confdefs.h"
	int main(){return (0)}

 The problem maybe is, the path to libstdc++ can not find the compiler c++. 
 How can I solve this mistake?

 I have installed gcc 2.95.4, in S.O. Linux redHat 7.2
