In the MPlayer documentation it is given that if u properly compile and
install libdvdread and libdvdcss, by following the instructions than u
should get the following :
Checking for DeCSS support ... Yes
Checking for DVDread support ... Yes
Which I don't get.

I also thought like that. But mplayer does not play these .m2v files.
file gives me the following output :
rajesh at debian:/mnt/data/Music_Videos$ file Blank\ and\ jones\ -\ DJ\ Culture\ \(SVCD\).m2v
Blank and jones - DJ Culture (SVCD).m2v: MPEG system stream data
However videolan client plays this file without any problems. Arpi, is it
possible to play this file using mplayer ? What I will have to do ?
This is the output of mplayer :
rajesh at debian:/mnt/data/Music_Videos$ mplayer -v Blank\ and\ jones\ -\ DJ\
Culture\ \(SVCD\).m2v
