Hi,
I downloaded the libdvdread and libdvdcss libraries, compiled them.
This is the output of :
debian:~# ldconfig -p | grep dvd
libdvdread.so.2 (libc6) => /usr/lib/libdvdread.so.2
libdvdread.so (libc6) => /usr/lib/libdvdread.so
libdvdcss.so.0 (libc6) => /usr/lib/libdvdcss.so.0
libdvdcss.so (libc6) => /usr/lib/libdvdcss.so
debian:~#
But now when I try to compile mplayer ./configure does not recognise the
above libraries.
Checking for DeCSS support ... no
Checking for DVDread support ... no
Why is this happening ? I wanted to play files in mpeg2 format (.m2v
format). I can play those files using Videolan and when I tried to compile
mplayer I got the above error.
Please help. I like mplayer and would like to play these files too using
mplayer.
Thanks in advance. and bearing with my silly question. I went through the
CD-DVD.html file and downloaded the above libraries from the link given
there.
My mplayer is a CVS snapshot : MPlayer-20010904
Thanks again.
