[Mplayer-users] cant find -lstdc++

Please forgive me, I am handicapped, my questions
may sound 'stupid', but I am not able to control this,
I do try my best.

I need help with the error at the bottom of this mail,
and there was nothing found in the archives, all it said was:
"Your search for
htsearch detected an error. Please report this to the returned matches
webmaster of this site. The error message is:
Unable to read configuration file '/bigassraid/htdig//conf/10464.conf' "

I'm sorry but this means nothing to me.
I can't find anything in the FAQ page that matches this
problem.

I cant make mplayer compile, I am using gcc gcc-2.95.2-12mdk
on Linux Mandrake 8.0 system.
Please nicely tell me what package I need to install.

Thank you.
