[MPlayer-users] Problem

I Have Mplayer version 0.50 with win32 codecs for this mplayer version.
Problem is in sychronic with audio to video
I hear voice early than I see video!
when i try -framedrop option
everything is OK, but the screen is too slow (i cannot see film)

My computer:
Hardware:
* Celeron 333 Mhz,
* 256 MB RAM,
* Intel 740 8MB AGP
* Sound Blaster 128 PCI (es1371)
* 8,6 HDD with U-DMA/33
* CD-ROM LG 32x (I try to watch divix's film from hard drive)
Software:
* Slackware linux 8.0 with 2.4.12-gr-security kernel

What else:

When I watching film and i put Q (exit)
I see message like:

**************************************************
* Your system is too SLOW! try -framedrop option *
**************************************************

In fact, I have a question. Is that true that my comuter
is to slow for pleasant watching divix's ?
