Hi,

Thanx to Al3x, we have now xanim video codec plugin support in MPlayer!

*** Warning ***

not all xanim plugin can be used legally with mplayer, as their license say:

        You MAY:
            1: Freely use this Software in conjunction with XAnim.

        You MAY NOT:
            1: Use this Software for any application other than XAnim.
	...

So, read the codec's license carefully before start using it with mplayer!

Now the MPlayer side.

codecs.conf has the new codecs added.

You only have to download the binary codecs for your platform (only x86
libc6 codecs tested) from xanim site (http://xanim.va.pubnix.com/), and
(!) make symlinks to vid_****.xa name, where **** is the codec name (fourcc)
for example:  ln -s vid_cvid_2.1_linuxELFx86c6.xa vid_cvid.xa

they are searched at /usr/lib/xanim/mods, if you dislike, change at xacodec.c:
#define XACODEC_PATH "/usr/lib/xanim/mods"

They will decode Indeo 3.2,4.1,5.0, CVID, 3ivX (!), h263.
Untested: h261, cyuv (need sample files)

And the greatest thing: they all produce YV12 image, so both hardware
(xv,xmga,tdfxdb etc) and software (x11/vesa) scaling can be used.

To force xanim codecs, use -vc *xa or -vfm 10 option.
