Did you read your log files?
In both cases at end of each file is:
 vo_vesa: Can't apply zooming to non YV12 formats

Probably you have option ZOOM turned on in your mplayer.conf file.
But mplayer wanted:
vo_vesa: Requested mode: 480x260 at 42475220 bpp=32
That is BGR32 format.
Try turn zooming off or use ffdivx or ffmpeg12 codecs through -vc key.

Maybe it would be correctly print out only warning in this place?
It's possible too.
