[MPlayer-users] Audio driver with Via 686a

Dear List,

First of all I would like to thank the developers for this amazing player.

Now my problem:

The audio playback is not correct, the pitch is too high.

I think that the problem is rooted at the motherboard-integrated soundcard
(Via-chipset) and which is locked at 48kHz playback rate:

Er, kernel version 2.4.14

mplayer (the CVS version) is saying:
audio_setup: using 48000 Hz samplerate (requested: 44100)
audio_setup: frags:  32/32  (4096 bytes/frag)  free: 131072

With "-ao sdl" the results are the same.  SDL version 1.2
SDL: Samplerate: 44100Hz Channels: Stereo Format Signed 16-bit (Little-Endian)
