hi,

I've successfully compiled MPlayer 0.5 on Debian Woody. It works OK for a lot of file formats. 

When I try to play a .asf file via http, it says:

ASX parser not implemented.

Is this already implemented in the CVS? Will it be?

how can I set in the .mplayer/config file to use -ao sdl:esd , so that I don't have to specify on the command line each time?
