Do you force any options (for --enable-GL e.g) ?
I see in configure.log:

============ Checking for OpenGL ============
Result is: yes

The C test should appear if auto mode is enabled.

Please send me a 'script' session of 'sh -x ./configure2 <your flags>'
since it will accelerate debug, I guess.
