[MPlayer-users] mencoder: compile error

Hi,

I try to compile mencoder but I always get the following error message:

mplayer compiles (and works) fine. I have never seen a seg fault when  
compiling other programms. I use:
-  gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
-  GNU ld version 2.11.90.0.29 (with BFD 2.11.90.0.29)
-  mplayer latest cvs version (MPlayer CVS-011117-18:13)

Any help welcome (even a RTFM)
