[MPlayer-users] mencoder and -lameopts

I am attempting to encode a dvd to divx and wish the audio bitrate to be
128. But it appears as though no matter what i try the audio bitrate is
coming out as 192. I am running the command as follows ....

mencoder -dvd 1 -o blah.avi \
- -divx4opts br=1000:q=5 -ofps 24 -lameopts br=128

and see the following output when i play the file .....

AUDIO: srate=48000  chans=2  bps=2  sfmt=0x10  ratio: 16000->192000
then ...
AUDIO: 48000 Hz/2 channels/192000 bps/131072 bytes buffer/Signed 16-bit
