[MPlayer-users] mencoder problems

Hello,

I'm having problems with encoding encrypted DVDs
to Div4Linux with "mencoder" from today mornings
CVS (2001/11/14). Here is the story:

First of all: the DVD is played just fine using
> mplayer -dvd 1

But when I try "mencoder" with the command line
> mencoder -dvd 1 -o dms.avi 

I get the following error messages after approx.
15 seconds of encoded video:

>From that on, I get these "head_check" errors for every frame.
In the resultion avi file, the video is just fine, but the
audio is broken after 15 seconds; it simply stops.

This phenomenon is reproducible with the following DVDs:

- "The Magic Sword" -- bombs after 15 seconds
- "The Prince of Egypt" -- bombs immediately
- "Tarzan" -- bombs immediately

A detailed "mencoder" log (using -v -v -v) for "Tarzan"
