[MPlayer-users] mencoder segfaults if it can't write to -o <file>

Hi,

it looks like mencoder segfaults if it can't write to the file
specified by -o (e.g. due to a permission problem).

I assume it's a generic problem, so I don't include my system
information here (tell me if you still want it).
