I have Duron-700(x200) + 256 DIMM + ATI Radeon VE and have real-time things
which are described by you.
But if you plan to purchase new hw then it would be better to have Athlon XP or MP
at 1500MHz + Radeon 8500 or NVidia GeForge3 with TVout + 768 DDR + SBLive Platinum 5.1.
+ Asus or ABit MBoard.
