Hi, al3x found the vfw codec problem - it was in the fourcc mapping. it's fixed now, so 16bpp CRAM files work again. note, that 8bpp CRAM is not supported, as mplayer doesn't work in 8bpp (except GGI ?) and there is no bpp conversion (yet). update your codecs.conf !
