Hi!
When I play a WMV8-file, mplayer crashes with "signal 8 in module:
decode_video". I used latest cvs (30 min ago) and latest w32codecs.zip.
System is:
SuSE 7.1
Linux alison 2.4.2 #12 Mon Mai 7 21:38:09 CEST 2001 i586 unknown
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1382179 Jan 19 07:14 /lib/libc.so.6
XFree86 Version 4.0.3 / X Window System
(protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6400)
Release Date: 16 March 2001
If the server is older than 6-12 months, or if your card is
newer than the above date, look for a newer version before
reporting problems. (See http://www.XFree86.Org/FAQ)
Operating System: SuSE Linux [ELF] SuSE
Module Loader present
gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
GNU ld version 2.10.91 (with BFD 2.10.0.33)
GNU assembler 2.10.91
Video card: ATI Xpert at work 8MB RagePro
X driver: ati.2 for XFree 4.0.3 from www.linuxvideo.org/gatos
Sound: Adlib MSC 16 PnP, cs4232 oss driver from Linux kernel 2.4.2
Log files and cpu-info are attached.
Boy, writing bugreports is hard work. Btw. I didn't find anything on signal 8
or "wmv" in the famous DOCS/BUGS DOCS/TODO file. So I'm writing you the
list... now let's see what the result is.
