[Mplayer-users] Can't read DVDs

I've got libcss, and MPlayer works fine with Divx, but I can't read DVDs.
The command line I use is:
	mplayer -dvd /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom/video_ts/vts_01_1.vob

and then I get the following error : 
	DVD is encrypted, issuing authentication ...
	ioctl FIBMAP: Inappropriate ioctl for device
	Hint: run mplayer as root!
	DVD: path_to_lba() failed.

Running as root generates the same problem.
