I think that current CVS tree has been fixed for that problem.
If you don't see hungarian letters correctly, explicitly give option
'-nounicode' to mplayer. (but now, koreans should always execute mplayer with
'-unicode' option to see korean subtitles...)

Maybe it does...
because I've tested on only MS formats used in my country, korea. :(
