[Mplayer-users] Can't play in 1600x1200x24, what's the problem?

Hi,

I've been playing with Mplayer a little and I must say it's great! One
problem though, it doesn't work in 1600x1200x24, it runs out of some
resource. Is it a hardware limitation maybe? Unfortunately I can't
use ctrl-alt-+/- to change resolution, since I have no numpad on the
keyboard... Does anyone know if that keyboard combination can be changed
without recompiling the server?

I'm running Xfree86 4.0.2, TNT2 Ultra with NVidia's driver. The messages
