[Mplayer-users] mplayer compile error

Hi,

I downloaded the latest cvs .tar.gz file :

mplayer-main-current.tar.bz2

But when I compile mplayer I get the following error :

Why I am getting the above error ? Something seems to be missing on my debian box. Can 
anybody point out what needs to be installed. I will be really thankfull. After trying
out mplayer I have become its addict. But after the corruption of my partition table I have
reinstalled debian and now when I try to compile mplayer I get the above message. It is
really frustrating not to be able to use mplayer for the last 2 days.

I have got the following libraries which the above error seems to be referring to :

debian:/home/rajesh/tmp/compile/main# dpkg -l | grep stdc
ii  libstdc++2.10          2.95.2-13              The GNU stdc++ library
ii  libstdc++2.10-dev      2.95.3-3               The GNU stdc++ library (development files)

ii  libstdc++2.9-glibc2.1  2.91.66-4              The GNU stdc++ library (old egcs version)
