codec family is a specific codec library like libmpeg2, ffmpehs
libavcodec, dshow, vfw loqader, opendivbx decore, codec is a spec ific
codec, like ffmpegs ms mpeg4 v3 decoder (ffdivx= or dhsows indeo 5
codec.
