[Mplayer-users] support for TV-out of Matrox G450?

I can recommend the Savage4 with TVout very much. It is cheap and
the driver supports xv. I have an old computer that I use as server
for various things standing next to my TV (no normal monitor at all),
and I also use this computer to watch movies with mplayer on my TV.

(Since I live in Japan these days I use NTSC, but there is a tool
on the driver's website that is supposed to allow you to switch
the card to PAL under linux.)
