I've tried to encode using ffmpegs stuff many ways, it seems to always mark the output file as 'mpeg' codec which nothing seems to play the video back for. so mplayer can only try to use null :( I know libavcodec support it new, so maybe this is a bug? or is there another special trick? -Bruce
