[MPlayer-users] Compile errors with new binutils

Hi

The latest cvs version of MPlayer doesn't compile with binutils:
2.11.92.0.12.3. This is the one from the debian SID package. I had the
same problem with kernel 2.4.16. But it was fixed in 2.4.17

mencoder.o: In function `main':
mencoder.o(.text+0x1697): undefined reference to `avcodec_find_encoder_by_name'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [mencoder] Error 1
