Hi,

I installed the mplayer (with --enable-tv) and I wanted to test it a bit...
(CVS from today)

I have few problems:

1. it doesn't want to get the input: parameter.. take a look:

[snip]
Tests of OS support for SSE passed.
CPUflags: Type: 8 MMX: 0 MMX2: 0 3DNow: 0 3DNow2: 0 SSE: 1 SSE2: 1
parameter must be an integer: television
Subconfig parsing returned error: -3 in token: input=television
Error -3 while parsing option: 'tv'!
command line: -tv

I thought that the tv= needs some other inputs - from looking at the output:

Selected device: BT878(FlyVideo 2000S)
 Capabilites: capture tuner overlay clipping frameram scales
 Device type: 235
 Supported sizes: 48x32 => 924x576
 Inputs: 3
  0: Television: tuner audio tv camera (tuner:1, norm:0)
  1: Composite1: audio camera  (tuner:0, norm:0)
  2: S-Video: audio camera  (tuner:0, norm:0)
 Audio devices: 3
Requested width: 640
Requested height: 480
Using input 'Television'
Tuner (Television) range: 0 -> 4294967295
Selected norm: pal
Selected channel list: europe-east (including 133 channels)
Picture values:
 Depth: 12, Palette: 15 (Format: Planar YV12)
 Brightness: 32768, Hue: 32768, Colour: 32768, Contrast: 32768
success: format: 0  data: 0x0 - 0x0
Detected TV! ;-)
Output format: Planar YV12
Output size: 640x480
[V] filefmt:9  fourcc:0x32315659  size:640x480  fps:25.00  ftime:=0.0400
Detected video codec: [null] drv:0 (NULL codec (no decoding))
Writing AVI header...
ioctl sync failed: Invalid argument

Didn't help much (null decoding as you can see from the output)..

Any help about this issue? I read the docs (both encoding and the mplayer -
didn't help much). I also tried another sizes (like 352x288) which didn't
help..

Suggestions?
