[MPlayer-users] Radeon frambuffer use if Radeon is not primary display?

I am pleased to see that framebuffer support for Radeon works.  One
question though, if I have a Radeon card in my machine (what is the
cheapest Radeon that would be suitable for mplayer framebuffer usage?)
but it's not the "primary" video card will it still work?  Can I load
a framebuffer device for a second video card and still have mplayer
display to it through the framebuffer device?
