Kind of done. There is a list for development and also a special list
for advanced users.

That's maybe a point. To define the lists not by the kind of user but by
the kind of expected question. Lot's of people wouldn't mind a RTFM or a
technical explination. These would go to the advanced list.
People looking for a simple but not necessarily perfect answer would use
this mailinglist.
