I just tried your modifications dated 2001-12-01 21:30. The problem
still persists.
My videocard is recognized as R128Pro U1 32 MByte memory.

1. PES-File 480x576   -> planar YV12
2. DIVX4-File 480x576 -> planar YV12
3. DIVX3-File 352x288 -> packed YUY2

BTW the function min is not defined in my environment (a small #define
helped).
