[Mplayer-users] MPlayer works really well on PPC

Last night I grabbed a CVS snapshot of MPlayer and ffmpeg, and I am
pleased to say that it works really well on my new 2001 iBook under
Debian/sid.

The machine is a PowerPC G3 with 128MB RAM running Linux 2.4.6 (using the
main PPC developers PPC tuned kernel tree)

The video driver still is a little slow for this machine, so I had to
enable framedrop, and I am using someone's hacked up sound drivers, but
other than that it's working well.
