Playback is faster, must faster even. With mplayer it looks as if the movie
is played in slow motion almost, at least at half it's speed. I decided to
run with the -v switch to give you some data to look at and to my surprise
the dvd playback was faster then!? That only lasted for a while into the
movie and then playback got suddenly much slower. Below is mplayer -v

Like I said above. It's been a while since I tried DVD playback on this
box in Windows but I can give it a shot tomorrow. I remember my sister
playing DVDs with PowerDVD on this box in windows and that played smoothly.

I'm sure mplayer will get there too.
