[Mplayer-users] C-Media Electronics Inc CM8338A (cmpci) sound fails since kernel 2.4.6: a solution

I wrote about this a while back. I wrote the driver author who is 
working on the problem.

In the meantime, you can replace cmpci.c by the one from kernel 2.4.5 
and recompile: it works for me.
