Hi Friends,

Anybody up there playing VCD's using mplayer under i810 with svga driver ?

I seem to be facing some problem here ?

I compiled mplayer with xv, sdl & svga support. xv and sdl works fine. But
if I try to run mplayer in console mode with -vo svga I get the following :

MPlayer 0.17a-IdegCounter (C) 2000-2001 Arpad Gereoffy

Using VGA driver.
Sorry, selected video_out device is incompatible with this codec.

In /etc/vga/libvga.conf there is no chipset called i810. Does that mean I
won't be able to run mplayer with svga driver on i810 ?

ps.: games like quake, doom using svgalib work fine on my machine though.

Thanks in advance.

Warm Regards
