[Mplayer-users] Wish-list for slow machines ( like mine :-(

Hi, 

I would really appreciate two features: 

First a settings, which make it possible to display only every 
n-th frame. (n arbitrary) 
It would help computers with slow graphics (non-accel.)
where decoding is far below 100%, but output is too slow 
for fluent play. 

Second a setting which puts most emphasis on sound.
Breaks in sound are much more annoying than breaks in 
video. So it would be good to ensure sound is playing 
smoothly and play only video frames, if time is left for that. 
(I guess, it should be...) 

What do you think?
