[MPlayer-translations] Where is the base file to be translated?

Hello,everyone!

I'm new here.
I want to translate Mplayer documentation into Simplified Chinese(zh-CN).
The translation HOWTO page lists the following three docs to be translated:

1) console messages (help/help_mp-XX.h)
2) man page
3) XML documentation

I've noticed that the zh-CN version of "console messages" has been
well matained, and the "man page" being "help wanted", the "XML
documentation" being "very outdated, help needed".

I wonder where to get the latest English version of "manpage" and "XML
documention". In"http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/info.html#docs" I've
found the docs, is that the place where I download them and do my
translation? And which format (HTML single file/ROFF/txt)should I
download?
