Mine reports

Revision: 1.06
File Version: 1.6

I can't remember where I down loaded it from. I'm still running V4 with
most free updates.

KO Myung-Hun is the maintainer and has much more knowledge of MPlayer
and its OS/2 code then I do.

What happens if you remove the RSJ stuff from config.sys?
Just now reading the docs for daniatapi I notice there is quite a bit
of stuff on using it with RSJ about 2/3rds into the document. You might
want to look at that.

These are the errors I used to get with my last DVDRW (an LG model). I
tried everything I could think of to fix it with no luck. The odd DVD
did work, especially burned copies without dvdcss.

I also misremembered. I picked up an old dvd reader at a thrift store.
That one only worked by ripping first. Then it worked fine.

That is a strange crop of errors. If the first ones are correct about
the failure to crack the key then it is possible MPlayer was reading
encrypted data (looks random) and just got confused.

Well unluckily you might just have an incompatible DVDRW. I saw the odd
other person complaining about similar problems and I know I had
similar problems. I also had the same results under Linux so it wasn't
just an operating system problem.
Still you might want to look at DANIATAPI docs.
Also from Googling this might be caused by overly aggressive region
coding and there are cracked firmware updates that may fix your DVDRW
or may brick it. I never had the nerve to try. Still my drive just got
slow then started only working interment then died.
My new drive plays DVDs great with MPlayer

Its interesting, still understand I'm not an expert and some of what I
say is guess work and it is good to back things up
