Tearing shouldn't happen as (x)mga uses tripple buffer.

Uhm... Are you sure that this isnt your TV ? Or wrong settings
of the TV output ? Because mga_vid doesn't do anything there.
It's just a way to access hardware scaling of the card, nothing more.

hmm.. Although a totaly different system and unrelated to
mga_vid. If it works for fbdev it should also work for mga_vid.
