playback non-mpeg12 video, you HAVE TO use -vop lavc (for libavcodec mpeg1
codec) or -vop fame (for libfame). Note, that you have to add expand to
fame sometimes, it's a bug but i cannot fix it now... (-vop fame,expand)

There are many possibilities, including scaling (hardware scaling
horizontally and software scaling vertically, wiht expand, and subtitles and
stuff), read the fresh updated DOCS/DVB for details.
