[MPlayer-dvb] Playing DVB-S2 channels not working

Hi,
i'm using ubuntu 9.10 64bit. I have a Nova HD S2 and previously a
skystar hd2. i can scann, szap without problems to any channel. i can
play normal dvb-s channels with mplayer, ffplay and mythtv etc.

but when i zap to a dvb-s2 channel mplayer - /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0
does not play anything. ffplay start playing the channel but with mayn
error messages on concole. and after some seconds it often freeze (first
only the image, later the whole program).

if i save the stream to file (cat /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0 > test.ts)
mplayer starts playing it but only the audio. it tell "no video
detected". ffplay shows same behaviour as before.

the same behaviour i had with both dvb-s2 cards (not installed at the
same time). to me it seems that something with the codec or demuxer is
going wrong. i am quite tired since i was trying to solve the problem
now for nearly two weaks. i wonder if it is because i use 64bit or if
the ffmpeg libs on ubuntu 9.10 are buggy or... well no idea what to do.

i really hope anybody know at least what's the problem or if there is
anybody with similar setup working it. if further infos are needed just ask.

p.s. i use szap-s2 -r -p "Anixe HD;Betadigital" to zap to the channel
with a channels.conf.
