Hi,
I am trying to tell mecoder to use a specific channels file to record
from my DVB card. But it seems to be ignoring the specified file. See
bellow:
[rony at goethe public]$ mencoder -dvbin file=/etc/mplayer/channels.conf -o
SBS_DVB.avi -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=4096 -vf
pp=lb,hqdn3d=6:6:20 -oac mp3lame -lameopts cbr:br=128 "dvb://7 Digital"
MEncoder 1.0pre7try2-4.0.2 (C) 2000-2005 MPlayer Team

[rony at goethe public]$ ls -la /etc/mplayer/channels.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4501 Jul 30 16:04 /etc/mplayer/channels.conf
[rony at goethe public]$
Now, when I run this as another user, who has a ~/.mplayer/channels.conf
file, it works just fine.
Is there something that I am doing wrong or does it not work in this
version?
Thanks in advance.
